One Lovely Blog Award :-)

 
I got an award from Pretty Lashes!!!!!!! Thank you!!! I feel very honoured - especially since I've been so busy lately and have not been updating as I should.

 Here goes:

1) I'm terrible at giving or taking directions!!! I'm getting better but I still do not trust myself. I get lost very easily and therefore have learnt how to ask for directions :-) I'm so glad I'm not a man!!!! 

2) I like to eat (or drink) raw eggs! Disgusting? Not to me! I think they are yummy! Nobody seems to understand me and I really don't care. All I know is I love raw eggs! :-D

3) I'm afraid of ALL animals! If it's not human, I'm scared of it. I can't touch them or pet them. Being 5 feet away from them is torture. And then I marry a man who wants 5 dogs? Go figure!

4) I like my comfort zone. I do not like to take risks - I always want to know what the outcome will be before I do something. I'm learning to take risks with the help of my TDH hubby and boy is it exhausting! 

5) I like to spend. And I don't know how to haggle. Yes, I confess that I think money is made to be used and not saved. But I do know that kind of thinking does not work in this world so I have had to stop myself several times. I just make sure I only have money when I need to buy something or else......

6) My palm has more lines than most people's palms. I've been told it's crowded! teeheehee!

7) I cannot roll my Rs. No matter how hard I try I can't do it :-(

The Questions:

1.  Why did you create this blog?

I started following blogs last year in September. Lovelace Files was actually the very first blog I ever read. As I kept following other blogs I began to want to write and since I was newly married I had something to write about and I thought why not? So far it's so much fun and I'm learning a lot from many of the blogs I follow. 

2. What kinds of blogs do you follow?
I follow blogs on marriage, motherhood and cooking. Those things are very dear to my heart.

3. Favorite make-up brand?

I love Rimmel London eye shadow. I also like Mac concealer and foundation but I don't use them as much.

4. Favorite clothing brand?

Hmmm... I don't really have one. Maybe Bhs or Marks and Spencer.

5. Indispensable makeup product? 

 Victoria's Secret lip gloss.

6. Favorite color?
PURPLE!!! The colour of royalty :)

7. Favorite perfume?  

'Vera Wang' by Vera Wang. I'm a perfume freak but this particular one blows my mind!!!!

8. Favorite film?  

I can't pick one so I'll list the movies that I've recently watched and liked. The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, SALT, For Colored Girls, Takers.

9. What country would you like to visit and why?  
France!!!!! I think it's the most romantic place in the world.

10. Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget blush on one side of your face? 
Mascara. I don't use blush.

1. Jessica at From Marriage to Motherhood. This lady inspires me. She is so creative and her love for the Lord is a real encouragement to me. She blogs about being a mother and a wife and everything in between. I want to be just like her when I grow up :-D
2. Faith at Life.Love&Marriage. In my opinion, this blog keeps it real. She's married and blogs about life with her stud-muffin hubby. I love reading about her life and the way she sees things. 
3. Sommer J at A Mama With Flavor. She is super creative in the kitchen. Many times I wish I was her so I could whip up something yummy for my hubby. She is, indeed, a mama with flavor!
